The Tacoma Longshoremen Credit Union is a not for profit, state chartered, financial cooperative
located in Tacoma, Washington. The credit union was organized in February, 1963 so that local
longshore workers could save together and provide low cost loans to each other.
The Tacoma Longshoremen Credit Union is a member-owned financial institution whose purpose is to meet its member's
financial needs and promote the financial well-being of its members by providing them with financial services in a
friendly and considerate manner.
Membership shall be open to all members and affiliates of:
ILWU, Local #23 of Tacoma, WA
ILWU, Local #22 of Tacoma, WA
ILWU, Local #47 of Olympia, WA
I.D. Casual Longshore Persons that are on the I.L.W.U. Local #23 I.D. Casual list with 2000 hours or more.
Fraternal organizations, partnerships or corporations composed of credit union members.
Employees of the credit union.
Members of the immediate family including children and step-children; and grandchildren of credit union members.
